ISTANBUL

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck Papua New Guinea on Saturday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

No casualties have yet been reported.

The quake, which was 82 kilometers (51 miles) southwest of Porgera in the Enga province, comes two months after a 7.5 magnitude tremor struck the same area, leaving 125 people dead.

According to the UN cited by local media, more than 40,000 people remain displaced because of February's earthquake.
